Who we're looking for

We recruit tutors who can combine academic excellence with clarity, professionalism, and empathy. Typically, successful applicants have:

  • — A strong academic background (Oxbridge or top Russell Group preferred)
  • — Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • — Experience tutoring, mentoring, or teaching (formal or informal)
  • — A calm, structured approach to explaining complex ideas
  • — Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail

Experience with admissions support (Oxbridge, Medicine, Law, competitive courses) is a plus, but not essential.

We'll invite you to a relaxed 20-minute session — part conversation, part teach-back — so we can get a feel for your communication style and how you explain ideas to students.

If everything goes well, we'll bring you on board and begin matching you with students based on your subjects, availability, and expertise.
